When I speak about passion, I don’t always mean it in a romantic way. What I actually mean about passion is the powerful feeling of enthusiasm that we all have inside. What we desire the most, even more than money- is to be proud of what we do with our lives. A truly successful person is someone who is proud of the work what he/she does.
All of us are enthusiastic about something, whether its finance, food, art or a favorite sport. This inner zeal or enthusiasm is very powerful, which turns out to be success when combined with work we love to do most. Also, self improvement and all the necessary traits for excellence in any field become automated and obvious for a person performing in his/her chosen field of passion. The process is then never tiring and the challenges seem alluring. Ultimately it turns out to be beneficial for the society as a whole. Therefore it is needless to say that almost nothing is achieved without intense passion. Think of the legendary writer and film maker Satyajit Ray and cricketer Sachin Tendulkar also most innovative business leader Steve Jobs they are the epitome of the most passionate people we look forward to. But it is nevertheless to say that only passion cannot bring forth success; it also needs immense hardwork, intelligence, common sense, leadership, honesty and courage.

In a country like ours however, it is not easy to retain or follow one’s passion. Our socio economic scenario forces many youngsters to compromise on their passion and follow some ordinary path of life just to secure earning square meal a day. There are certain specific and predefined routes of life which the society fosters and expects everyone to follow. It is not that this is entirely wrong. These practices and theories has developed over the years of human experience and handed down to us to minimize mistakes. But, on the other hand, it denies invention of new possibilities. If M.S Dhoni had stick to his government job of Railway Ticket collector- it is needless to say what we could have missed!
